Salam sista
A series of illustrations which was created in collab with several places in Essaouira, Morocco to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in 2023. My aim with this serie was to honor the rich feminine culture of Morocco, the strong sisterhood which I experience during my visits in Morocco. These women are the engine of the society. They feed their families, they nourish the little ones, provide a home for their community and a warm welcome for visitors.
Meanwhile these illustrations have been used for several occasions. I have had several exhibitions in Morocco and my posters and postcards of this serie are sold in several shops in Holland and Morocco.
